Melanie is grateful for the privilege to work with her clients in their healing and personal growth. 

Melanie’s deep love of people comes through in her therapeutic approach with empathy, authenticity and humour. 

Melanie’s goal as a therapist is to provide you with a comfortable and safe space to share your story, to feel, and to explore the experiences that make you who you are, and have brought you to today. 

Drawing from her training in psychology, education, and social work, Melanie has supported individuals and families through a variety of challenges including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, effective communication etc. She has witnessed incredible strength, courage and resilience through her clients’ growth and many successes.

Types of therapy: Melanie takes an intersectional approach to therapy, including Psychoeducation, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Attachment Theory. Melanie is always working to further her knowledge of therapeutic practice and is committed to continued learning. 

Education and Credentials: Melanie holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
