Hi! I'm Jenilee and I love to understand people (and herself!); what makes us tick, and how we can live our most authentic lives.
My goal as a queer, cis gender, white passing bi-racial therapist is to hold a safe and supportive space for you to explore whatever brings you to our shared space.
I provide counselling to folx of all ages who are struggling with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: low self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, disordered eating, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and grief and loss.
Types of therapy: Jenilee’s counselling approach integrates Psychoeducation, Polyvagal, Internal Family Systems, Somatic, and Trauma-informed Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), with a focus on healing and living your most authentic life.
Education and Credentials: Jenilee graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, after receiving her Bachelor of Social Work from Kings University College, and Social Service Worker Diploma from Conestoga College. Jenilee is a certified Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) Practitioner, a Certified Yoga Teacher, and Psychotherapist.
Jenilee is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Jenilee:
All of our programs are self-referral, fee for service programs, often covered by health benefit providers. We are currently offering most services via video.
