Hi, I'm Jenilee! I'm a social worker who leads with authenticity, curiosity, and heart. Grounded in empathy and guided by trauma-informed practices, I weave together mindfulness, a "let's be curious" mindset, and an appreciation for each person's unique story, with the goal of supporting people in navigating life's challenges, transitions, and transformations with compassion and courage.
My goal as a queer, cis gender, white passing bi-racial therapist, is to hold brave, safe and supportive space for you to feel seen, heard and empowered to explore both the beautiful and chaotic parts of being human.
I provide counselling to folx of all ages who are struggling with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: low self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, disordered eating & eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, and navigating consensual non-monogamous relationships.
Types of therapy: I'm an eclectic therapist who draws from multiple disciplines, integrating Psychoeducation, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic and Body work, Trauma-informed Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), with a focus on healing and living your most authentic life. I also offer Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions and Plant-Assisted Therapy sessions,
Education and Credentials: Jenilee graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, after receiving her Bachelor of Social Work from Kings University College, and Social Service Worker Diploma from Conestoga College. Jenilee is a certified Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) Practitioner, a Certified Yoga Teacher, and Psychotherapist.
Jenilee is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).

All of our programs are self-referral, fee for service programs, often covered by health benefit providers. We are currently offering most services via video.
