If you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder, we can help. Many people, while not diagnosed, have disordered eating behaviours that negatively impact the way they feel and live. We can help with that too.
Angie Cornwell is not your average dietitian. Jenilee Halls is not your average social worker. Our approach is radically different from mainstream messaging about food, bodies, health, and movement.
While we believe that what we eat impacts our health, we also believe how we think about food influences our whole-self-health.
We help people sort through their thoughts and beliefs about:
If you talked to 10 people we saw in a week, each would describe their time with us very differently! It's important to us that we create individualized plans with people, because no two person's healing journey looks the same.
In all of this, we use a non-dieting approach to whole-self-health, following guiding principles from intuitive eating, body trust, and health at every size (HAES). We use an eclectic, client-driven mix of therapy tools from motivational interviewing, DBT, and CBT-E, to help people live their most authentic lives!
Your first appointment (intake) is with the whole Nourish Your True Self team, both dietitian and social worker, and is 50 minutes.
50 minute consults/education sessions can be with both the Registered Dietitian and Registered Social Worker or one on one with your chosen support
Our person-centred values (individuality, independence, privacy, partnership, choice, dignity, respect and rights) and trauma-informed approach, keeps your whole-self-health in mind during all aspects of our work together.

Angie is a Registered Dietitian who has worked in the field of disordered eating for 20+ years. Food and eating are very personal and emotionally charged topics. Sorting through all of this stuff is hard work. This sounds like nutrition therapy because that is what it is.
Jenilee is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist. Self-proclaimed “Eating Disorder Warrior”, she has been through her own disordered eating journey and brings a unique perspective to her whole-self-health approach to therapy and counselling. Jenilee practices from a self-acceptance and body trust framework, helping you live
as your most authentic self.
We are a Registered Dietitian and Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist team offering a team based approached to disordered eating treatment.
Often covered by health benefits and offering equity pricing, respectfully.
All of our programs are self-referral, fee for service programs, often covered by health benefits.
We are currently offering both virtual and in person (Woodstock) appointments.
