Disordered Eating Treatment Program

If you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder, we can help. Many people, while not diagnosed, have disordered eating behaviours that negatively impact the way they feel and live. We can help with that too.

Who Are Our Programs For?

Do you or have you:

  • Chronically diet or strictly control your calories,
  • Feel out of control around food,
  • Feel compelled to work out to make up for calories, even when ill,
  • Have obsessive and/or intrusive thoughts about food, calories, or movement that interrupt your day or sleep,
  • Avoid social situations because of how you feel about your weight and/or body
  • Been diagnosed with an eating disorder

Our Approach

Angie Cornwell is not your average dietitian. Jenilee Halls is not your average social worker.  Our approach is radically different from mainstream messaging about food, bodies, health, and movement.

While we believe that what we eat impacts our health, we also believe how we think about food influences our whole-self-health.

We help people sort through their thoughts and beliefs about:

  • food
  • nutrition
  • health
  • their body and
  • movement

If you talked to 10 people we saw in a week, each would describe their time with us very differently! It's important to us that we create individualized plans with people,  because no two person's healing journey looks the same.

In all of this, we use a non-dieting approach to whole-self-health, following guiding principles from intuitive eating, body trust, and health at every size (HAES). We use an eclectic, client-driven mix of therapy tools from motivational interviewing, DBT, and CBT-E, to help people live their most authentic lives!
