Everyday I feel energized and happy to be helping children, youth and adults in their wellness journey.
In session I am curious, attentive, and empathetic with people.
My goal is to create a safe place for you to talk openly about your experiences.
I believe in the strength and capacity of each person to face life's challenges. My therapeutic approach is collaborative. I view myself as a guide, supporting you in resolving your issues and problems.
Outside of being a therapist I enjoy:
I have 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families; in school settings and beyond. Offering services in both English and French.
Many of my clients have sought help regarding low self-esteem, confidence, life transitions, anxiety, depression, identity, relationships and interpersonal issues.
Types of therapy: I draw from different therapies such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotional Focus Therapy.
I adapt to your unique needs and use strategies such as mindfulness, acceptance tolerance, radical acceptance, and self-acceptance techniques., to help you find and live your most authentic life.
I have over 25 years experience working as a Registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and I am able to offer services both in English and in French.
